Frequently asked questions

What is the best time for a Cyclades yacht charter?

June and September: warm water, fewer crowds and lighter winds. In July and August the meltemi, a strong northerly wind, can blow for several days, so captains favour sheltered anchorages and larger motor yachts give a more comfortable ride.

Where does a Cyclades charter start?

Most weekly charters start and end in Athens (Alimos) or Lavrio. One-way charters from or to Mykonos are possible on some yachts, sometimes with a relocation fee.

Can the itinerary be changed?

Yes. This is a sample route. Your captain adapts it to the weather and to your wishes, and stops or the start port can change depending on the yacht available.
